Nursery (0 - 3yrs) 9:00AM - 11:45AM
Children from birth to age 3 are encouraged to spend time in our bright cheery nursery. Our professional caregiver teaches our little one using Gospel Light's Little Blessing curriculum
Gospel Light Preschool Church School (3yrs - K) 9:15AM - 10:15AM
Using the Gospel Light curriculum, preschool church school is a hands-on, age appropriate introduction to the people and stories of the Bible. The children are taught God's love through story, song, craft and activities.
Spark Elementary Church School (1st - 6th Grade) 9:15AM - 10:15AM
Reflecting the belief that all children learn differently, this innovative rotation model curriculum allows kids to experience God's Biblical Stories in many way such as drama, art, music, cooking and computers! It teaches one story for several weeks so the children are able to really recall the story and its meaning.
Worship Bags and Bulletins
In the kiosk next to the doors opening to the sanctuary there are age appropriate bulletins for ages3-6 and 7-12 on the bottom shelf of the kiosk. There are also devotional books for older children onteh bottom shelf of the kiosk. Next to the kiosk, bags with worship activties are available for younger children.
God's Kids Worship (3yrs - Kindergarten (10:45AM - 11:30 AM)
Children begin worship with their parents. Following a childrens sermon, the pre-school/Kindergarten students are lead to a time of age appropriate learning and worship in room 122 right next to the nursery.
Kingdom Kids Worship (1st - 6th grades) (10:45AM - 11:30AM)
Children begin worship with their parents. Following a children's sermon the elementary students are let to a time of teaching and worship in room 208. When the Lord's Supper is served, the students stay in worship to experience communion within the community.
J.A.M. (Jesus and Me) (4th - 6th grade) 2nd Wednesday 6PM - 8PM
J.A.M. is a youth group for tweens that meets monthly in the evening. During this time, we have dinner, share about our daily lives, and tackle real life issues bullying, getting through difficult times changes and other relevant age approprate topics. Through Bible study, personal reflection, and fun activities, we explore where life and faith meet. J.A.M. also has two church overnights and one overnight retreat at Camp Crestfield.
A.M.P. (Alternative Ministry Project) 3rd Tuesday 6:30PM - 8PM
For those who cannot make Sunday Worship, or who are looking for a non-traditonal service, this new offering is for our entire church community. Dinner is served at 6:30PM followed by praising God through modern music,a speaker, and discussion time. A time for children who are younger and are not quite ready to listen to a speaker is led by the Director of Children's Ministry during the sermon.
Vacation Bible School (4yrs - 6th grade) 1 week in June 9AM - 12PM
Each year, we host over 120 children for an exciting week of Bible learning, singing, dancing, playing and eating! Each day the children move in small groups to various activities that center on the story and Bible point of the day. Every VBS has a special theme and setting that inspires the decoration of the whole church which transports the children to different places like a science lab, to an exotic Asian forest, to Everest, or to creepy caves!
Discovery Day Camp (1st grade - 6th grade) 9AM - 3PM
This six week summer day camp is a fun filled science exploration. With exciting weekly themes and dynamic professional teachers, kids discover the world around them, how it works, and how to solve problems within it.
Throughout the year we offer times for our community to nurture relationships with each other through fun activities including these:
Weekend at Deer Valley Camp - early September
Trunk or Treat - Late October
Journey to Bethlehem - every few years in November or early December
Children's Christmas Eve Service
Sunday evening Dinners, Educational Events for all age groups
2-3 times a year
Trips to Seabase, Parks, Bowling, etc
