history

Cross Roads Presbyterian Church was founded in 1840 and has been a consistent force of faith in the Monroeville community since then. For many years, the congregation worshiped in the Old Stone Church found at the corner of Stroschein Rd. and Monroeville Blvd, which is also the location of Cross Roads Cemetery. In the 1950s, the church had outgrown the space and purchased the land on our Haymaker Rd property. The church at 2310 Haymaker Rd was completed in 1967 and we have worshiped here since then.

Cross Roads Presbyterian Church is a part of the Presbyterian Church USA, and we fall firmly in the big tent of beliefs within that denomination. Cross Roads is proud of our ministries: Cross Roads Preschool, Cross Roads Food Pantry, and Cross Roads Cemetery. In these, we fulfill the ministry of Christ in Monroeville. We strive to be a church family that loves, supports, and cares for families with children, serves the needs of our local community, and provides authentic opportunities for worship and fellowship as a church family.
